She started to act in bizarrely and withdrew from people. At 18, she was hospitalized   1 month and dropped out of college. In the last   7 years was   hospitalized 12 tunes. There was no history of psychiatric illness in the family. Terry was discharged from a psychiatric hospital after 2 month s of inpatient treatment. Her diagnosis was schizophrenia, undifferentiated type, chronic. Her GAF at discharge was 30. She lived with her parents and was on SSI. Terry was referred by her nurse for ongoing psychotherapy as part of her discharge plan to help her adapt to the demands of community living and manage her illness. During her illness she was facing   auditory persecutory hallucinations and delusions as well as frequent cognitions such as "I'm no good,"I can't do anything." Behaviourally she was inactive, unable to work or live independently.
